AKD-9 is an air-to-ground missile developed by China. Its design and use are similar to those of the AKD-10 air-to-ground missile. However, it is smaller, and its range and power are also reduced accordingly.
Because the straight -19 body is more difficult to mount the AKD-10, China and AKD-10 developed a similar missile. Straight-10 due to insufficient engine power, there are also cases where AKD-9 is used to increase the amount of bombs.
