The Chinese army has demonstrated a new type of large unmanned submersible (UUV) called HSU001, also known as the “robot submarine.”
In terms of form factor, this unmanned underwater vehicle is clearly at the same level as the unmanned submersibles being developed in the United States and the United Kingdom. In terms of ability, this unmanned underwater submersible is entirely likely to help the Chinese naval fleet to compete with the US and British fleets in underwater operations.
At least two Chinese HSU001 unmanned submersible models or actual hulls appeared in the review on October 1.
Will China’s HSU001 unmanned submersible be similar to Russia’s “Poseidon” unmanned submersible, can carry nuclear warheads to sail in the deep sea, become one of the natural enemies of the aircraft carrier, detonate its own warhead charge. The nuclear warhead immediately poses a deadly threat to the aircraft carrier.
