At 14:42 on September 19, 2019, China used the Long March 11 carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch the “Zhuhai No. 1” Group 03 satellite in a five-star way. The satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit. The mission was a complete success.
The “Zhuhai No. 1” satellite project is a commercial remote sensing satellite project. It plans to develop and launch a constellation of 34 satellites. It has the capability of video imaging, hyperspectral imaging, SAR imaging, infrared imaging, etc., and acquires satellite remote sensing data as natural resources and ecological environment. Provide services in industries such as agriculture and rural areas. Group 01 2 satellites and 02 groups of 5 satellites were launched into orbit on June 15, 2017 and April 26, 2018, respectively.
