Japan Defense Ministry news that the Chinese navy fleet yesterday morning passed through Hokkaido and Aomori County between the Tsugaru Strait. Japan Maritime Self Defense Force dispatched a reconnaissance aircraft and a frigate monitoring the Chinese fleet.
The Japanese side said that the Chinese fleet consists of two missile frigates and a supply ship travelling from the Pacific through the Tsugaru Strait, heading for the Sea of Japan. The three warships in October last year, had also crossed Kagoshima and Seed island between the Taiyu Strait.
