This 250 Kg air dropped carbon fiber bomb has 134 submunitions. Each submunition contains 32 carbon fiber clusters. Carbon filbers are finer than a single human hair. They burn and short out every electronic device or circuit they touch. It entered the service in 2009.
It is developed based upon BL-755 anti-tank cluster bomb which China imported from UK in 1980’s.
