A 27-member captain delegation of the U.S. Navy visited the Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning on the afternoon of Oct. 19, 2015. The U.S. Navy officers exchanged views with their Chinese peers on such topics as personnel training and management, medical support, development strategy of aircraft carrier and so forth. A captain delegation of the Chinese PLA Navy paid a one week visit to the U.S. on February 1, 2015. The exchange of visits by captain delegations of the two navies is conducted according to the China-US annual navy exchange program. (Zhang Kai/people.cn)
